Promo and Load Loan Offer? What's this and who can use this?

With this service, you can borrow promos and load amounts for non-stop connection even if you're out of load! These emergency offers are available to all Globe Prepaid customers.

What are the types of loans and who are eligible?

We have 2 types of loans:

1. Emergency Loans - Open to All Globe Prepaid customers. Emergency Loan Offers were created to serve as a backup or alternative option when customers need to communicate urgently.

2. Loan Load/Promo - Open to selected Globe Prepaid customers. Promo/Load amounts can be borrowed for non-stop connection when customers run out of load or need additional load to buy a promo.

How do I become eligible to borrow promos or load?

Your eligibility to the different promos and load amounts depend on your tenure (how long you've been using Globe Prepaid), loading activity, and usage. As your activity and tenure change, your eligibility to the different promos and load amounts may change as well.


However, we also have emergency offers that are available to ALL Globe Prepaid customers. You may find the list of offers above.

What is the service fee for? How much will be the total amount for deduction?

The service fee serves as a fee for advancing the service, even before payment.


Your deduction will be the loaned promo/load amount standard price plus service fee.Here's the breakdown of the total amount to be charged:

How do I borrow these promos or load amounts?

Simply send the keyword to 3733. You will receive a text notification informing you that you can use the service. You may also dial *143# and choose Loans from the menu to see Loan offers that are available to you.

Remember, you may register and use these emergency promos even without load.

However, only one loan is allowed at a time, so you have to settle your unpaid or outstanding loan before you may loan again.

        1. Open the GlobeOne app
        2. Look for the 'Buy' menu at the bottom of the screen  
        3. Ensure that you are under 'Buy Globe Prepaid' at the top of the screen
        4. Click 'Loans' and
        5. Choose your desired Loan offer.

How soon can I start using the Loans service? Is the service available anytime?

Yes! The Loans Service is available 24/7 and you may already use the service with your Globe Prepaid SIM.

Can I borrow promos or load multiple times?

You can only borrow one at a time, whether it is a promo or load loan. Once you have settled your existing or outstanding loan, that's the time that you can avail of a loan again.


Take note that your loan offer may change on a monthly basis. You may know if your eligibility has changed based on the offer that will be sent to you via text.

Can I use these offers while abroad?

Sorry, but you can only register and use the Loans service only when you are in the Philippines.

I tried to register to the service by texting a Loan keyword to 3733 but received an error message!

This can mean a few things:

- The keyword used may be wrong. If you’re unsure about the keyword, you can always try registering via *143#! You’ll also see the latest offers there based on your eligibility.

- You may not be eligible to borrow that amount.

- There’s a temporary system activity where you can try to use the Loans service again at a later time.

- You may have an existing unpaid loan that you need to settle. To fully pay for this, you need to  buy a load then we will collect or if you have enough load, you can also text PAY LOAN to 3733

I received a confirmation message that I’ve successfully borrowed a promo. How can I check my remaining promo balance and when they will expire?

You can check your balance by texting the following keywords to 3733.

For the other Promo Loan offers, you can also do the following:

Dial *143#, select LOANS > Status > Loan Promo Status

Send BAL to 3733 i.e. LOANSURF30 BAL, LOAN GO50 BAL, LOAN GOUNLI50 BAL

How do I pay for my existing loan and how will I know if it has been settled?

FULL PAYMENT:

If you want to pay your loan in full, just buy load that’s more than or equal to your total loan amount (loaned amount plus service fee) and we will automatically deduct the total loan amount from your reload transaction.


MANUAL PAYMENT:

You can also pay manually by texting PAY LOAN to 3733. Just make sure that you have enough load to cover for your unpaid loaned amount plus the corresponding service fee before texting.

Upon successful payment, you’ll receive a message from 3733 that you already settled your loan balance


PARTIAL PAYMENT:

Starting February 3, 2023, customers with an unpaid loan of 14 days or more will receive a collection transaction on load purchases that are less than the total loan amount.


For each load purchase and less than the total loan amount, we will collect all but P1 from the amount until your loan is settled. This gives you the chance to pay your loan balance in small installments compared to the full amount in one go.

How will I know when partial collection from my load top-up will start?

When you borrow load or a promo, you’ll receive a confirmation message from 3733 that indicates the date when partial payments will begin. Note that this only applies if you haven’t yet paid your loan in full before the indicated date.


You may also receive reminder messages that indicate the start of partial payments. If you know when you borrowed load or a promo from us, you can also simply count 14 days from that date.

How often are collections if I’m paying partially? Does this mean I won’t be able to buy load until I’ve fully paid my loan?

Don’t worry, we will only collect once every 24 hours so that you can still buy load and use your SIM for any emergency.

Is there a minimum load amount for collection?

No. We’ll collect the first load purchase every 24 hours until the loan has been fully paid.

Will I be charged an interest depending on how long I pay for the borrowed service?

Nope, there's no interest charged. Only a fixed service fee is charged depending on the amount of the loan service you availed.

Will I be deducted if I buy load right after borrowing?

Yes, collection will happen on your very next load purchase even if it’s after availment of the loan service. 


If you reload more than the loaned amount plus service fee on the same day (after loaning), you may receive a collection SMS informing you of a deduction on your load.

After payment, can I borrow from the Loans service again?

Yes, you can borrow again once you’ve fully paid your loan.

How do I unsubscribe from my loaned promo?

Just send the correct keyword to 3733:
