Globe Rewards turned its G-Gantic Goals campaign into a powerful act of compassion for rescued animals under the care of Pawssion Project, made possible through the generosity of thousands of Globe customers.
The initiative formed part of Globe Rewards’ March Haves points expiry project, which encouraged customers to put their expiring points to good use by supporting worthwhile causes.
“This campaign reflects Globe’s belief in the power of collective action to build a more compassionate and sustainable future. With All-New Rewards, customers, especially the youth, are empowered to engage in advocacies they believe in, showing that whether an effort is big or small, we can all Go Forward Together,” said Peter Redan Ramirez, Head of Loyalty at Globe.
The campaign raised 150,000 Rewards points, which were converted into direct assistance for Pawssion Project, an organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. The group received ₱400,000 and collapsible playpens for its Bulacan shelter, and another ₱400,000 along with a pet nursery for Bacolod, helping improve the living conditions of over 800 rescued dogs and cats.
Meanwhile, around 30 to 40 participants from the Globe Community Builders Program extended their services to the two shelters during the G-Gantic Goals’ culminating activities. The students helped bathe and play with rescued animals, prepare food, and clean the shelter facilities, contributing to the animals’ well-being and encouraging community involvement.
“This support from Globe and its customers means the world to us and to the animals under our care,” said Malou Perez, Founder of Pawssion Project. “Every donation, every act of kindness—no matter how small—creates real change. Thanks to this campaign, our rescues now have safer, more comfortable spaces while they wait for their second chance at life.”
