Globe GFiber Prepaid is PH Fiber Leader for Mass Market

Globe’s GFiber Prepaid (GFP) recorded a 37% growth in the second quarter of 2025, making it the most widely adopted prepaid fiber service in the Philippines and further solidifying Globe’s leadership in mass-market fiber.

 

The service continues to gain traction for its affordability, ease of access, and reloadable setup. With no lock-in contracts and fast application, GFiber Prepaid provides a reliable internet option for households across the country. Its digital integration through the GlobeOne app makes account management and reloading even simpler.

 

Customers are not only signing up, they’re staying. Reload rates hit 68%, the highest in its segment, while average daily top-ups grew more than 4.5 times compared to the 2024 average. These numbers point to the rising demand for flexible and affordable prepaid fiber services among Filipinos.

 

Abby Cardino, VP for Broadband Brand Management at Globe, said the company is committed to enhancing accessibility for Filipino households nationwide. “GFiber Prepaid exemplifies the impact of truly listening to our customers. Our approach has always been about simplicity, flexibility, and putting control in their hands. The growth we’re seeing is only the beginning,” she said.

 

To sustain this momentum, Globe is expanding GFiber Prepaid’s presence in everyday channels like sari-sari stores, where mobile top-ups are already common. Localized barangay offers are also being introduced to make the service more responsive to the specific needs of each community.

 

GFiber Prepaid’s growth helped push Globe’s total fixed-wired broadband base to 1.5 million users, up from 1.2 million in the same period last year. Notably, fiber services now account for over 90% of Globe's total broadband revenues, underscoring the company's commitment to meeting the evolving connectivity needs of Filipinos.

 

“With localized barangay offers and easy top-up options, GFiber Prepaid is built around the realities of everyday life, whether for online learning, remote work, or staying close to family and friends. By listening to what customers truly need, it has become a trusted partner for households across the country, helping families thrive in today’s digital world,” Cardino said.
