Globe is making a return as an official sponsor of the Panagbenga Festival, Baguio City's iconic annual flower celebration, elevating the event this year by bringing together culture, technology, and fun.

"We are excited to join the much-awaited Panagbenga Festival. We hope to delight our Globe subscribers with exciting rewards and experiences exclusively available to them during the festival through our GlobeOne app,” said Crisela Magpayo-Cervantes, Vice President and Head of Media and Marketing Communications at Globe.

With Globe, Baguio locals and tourists alike will enjoy meaningful experiences at the festival, with immersive activities from February 26 to March 3.

Festival-goers will get exclusive offers via the GlobeOne app, where they can use their Rewards points to enjoy discounts with Globe’s partners in Baguio.

Globe’s Panagbenga Booth at Upper Session Road, meanwhile, promises to be a hub of activity and excitement. The booth will feature the following:

  • Flower Art Wall Co-Lab and Woven Bag Hand Painting

These creative workshops not only foster community artistry but also promote environmental consciousness and support for local artisans.

  • Claw Machines and Interactive Games

These fun games offer prizes and exclusive merchandise.

The immersive experiences are open to both Globe and non-Globe customers and accessible through Globe Rewards donations via the GlobeOne app. By encouraging attendees to donate via Globe Rewards or GCash, Globe leverages the festive spirit to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

The G Creator Photowalk, meanwhile, was designed to inspire both aspiring and professional Baguio creatives to capture and promote Baguio's charm as part of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network. Globe customers may join in the fun by doing the photowalk on their own time in 5 Globe photo spots located in Leandro’s Bistro, VIVISTOP, Baguio Ukay, Yomichee, and Cafe Leche. Customers who complete the photowalk and mechanics will have a chance to win ₱15,000 GCash.

Globe customers will also enjoy exclusive partner offers during Panagbenga, including discounts in Baguio’s famed Rebel Bakehouse via Globe Rewards from March 1 to 3. Foodpanda users in Baguio will meanwhile get 80% off when they subscribe to the 6-month PandaPro subscription plan on Foodpanda using the code GLOBEGUDI to get free delivery and discounts in over 13,000 restaurants.

“As we return to the festival after several years, we are excited to give festival-goers a Panagbenga experience they won’t forget,” said Magpayo-Cervantes.

This year's festival, enhanced by Globe's array of activities and digital innovations, invites everyone to discover the beauty and energy of Baguio, nurturing a sense of unity and collective happiness that truly captures the essence of Panagbenga.
