Globe is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Basyang and has placed response teams on standby as network impacts are recorded in Surigao del Sur. Tropical Storm Basyang made landfall over Bayabas, Surigao del Sur, late Thursday night, based on the latest PAGASA updates. It continues to affect parts of Mindanao and the Visayas, with impacts being monitored as the weather system moves onward.

Relief efforts are also on standby, in coordination with local authorities and community partners, including Rise Against Hunger Philippines, as conditions continue to evolve.
