Modem IP & Login

Step 1: Access the modem interface

1. Open your web browser and type 192.168.254.254 in the address bar.

2. Click Setup and log in using the following credentials:

   • Username: user

   • Password: user

3. Click Login to access the modem settings.

Wi-Fi Name / SSID Configuration

Step 1: Navigate to WLAN settings

In the modem interface, go to Setup > WLAN.

Step 2: Update your Wi-Fi name (SSID)

1. Under WLAN, click Basic.

2. Enter your new preferred Wi-Fi name (SSID).

3. Click Apply Changes to save your updated Wi-Fi name.

Step 3: Update your Wi-Fi security settings

1. Go to Security in the WLAN menu.

2. Select WPA2 (AES) as the security type.

3. Enter your desired password in the Pre-Shared Key field.

4. Click Apply Changes to secure your Wi-Fi.

Laptop Wi-Fi Settings

Step 1: Connect to your new Wi-Fi network

1. Click the Wi-Fi button on your laptop and find your new Wi-Fi name (SSID).

2. Right-click the SSID and select Properties.

3. Under Security, input your new password and click OK.

Step 2: Verify your connection status

1. Scroll down the modem page to check the WLAN and LAN connection status.

2. Under WAN status, confirm your Wi-Fi connection's security level and SSID.
