Roam Surf is available to Globe Prepaid, Load Tipid Plan (LTP) and MyStarter Plan (MSP) customers, and also TM customers.

For other countries not covered by our Roam Surf offers, the data roaming service will not be available.

Yes. Just like the other roaming offers, you need to register to any of the new Prepaid Roam Surf offers when abroad. To register to your selected promo, access the GlobeOne or GCash App, or dial *143# and select MyAccount > Roaming & Intl > Roaming  > Data Roaming Promos.

Prior to registration, please check if your country of destination is part of the Roam Surf partner countries. Otherwise, you may still be charged the selected denomination, but won't be able to enjoy data connection.

Once abroad, you can register to Roam Surf via via GlobeOne or GCash App, or dial *143# and select MyAccount > Roaming & Intl > Roaming  > Data Roaming Promos.

Yes. Make sure the following are set on your mobile:

• Data roaming is ON
• Access Point Name (APN) is set to internet.globe.com.ph.
• Mobile network should be set to LTE
• Restart your phone after successful registration
  
• Upon your return to the Philippines, your APN settings should be changed back to http.globe.com.ph.
  

*Upon your return to the Philippines, no need to revert to anything as the network can detect your arrival and will apply local charges.

You'll receive a series of notifications to confirm that your promo subscription is successful:

• You will get a message alerting you that your promo is ready for use. 
• Upon connecting to a Roam Surf partner network and turning on your data roaming, there will be a notification upon first data usage to signify the beginning of the promo duration. Take note of the time stamps which follow the Philippine Standard Time.
  

You will not be able to use your data roaming pack if your cellular data is not turned ON.

You will receive alerts when you only have 50% and 20% data allocation left before the end of your Roam Surf’s validity. If you want to proactively check, you can also dial *143# and select MyAccount > Roaming & Intl > Roaming  > Data Roaming Promos.

The tracking is real-time, but usage info (from the time status was checked to the time status message was received) may vary if you have an ongoing browsing session. 

You will be notified once your promo validity has ended or if your MB allocation has been used up. 

It is recommended that you only register to data roaming promos upon arrival abroad. If you register while still in the Philippines, the promo fee will be deducted from your load but you won't be able to use the promo.

If you move to a non-Roam Surf country while your Roam Surf subscription is still valid, your data roaming access will no longer be available. Any unused subscription will also be forfeited.

Our Roam Surf offers allow you to enjoy unrestricted access to your favorite apps or enjoy a complete digital experience even while abroad! Your internet access is not limited to just liking and sharing, you can also enjoy music, video streaming and even file sharing as long as your offer is still valid.

However, if you register for an app-based promo, all browsing activities must only happen within the app. You will not be able to browse outside the app unless you have also registered to a Roam Surf all-access data pack. 

Upon promo expiration, your data will be blocked. Simply register again to a new Roam Surf promo via *143# to have access to data roaming. 

1. You may simultaneously avail of different subscriptions at the same time. The expiry of each subscription will be independent of each other. 
2. he only time that you cannot pre-register to any Roam Surf app or data pack is if you are registered to a similar Roam Surf variant that is still within validity.

None! You can keep using your data roaming service even with zero balance. However, you will need to load up again before you can register for your next data roaming promo. 

To stop the promo, dial *143# and select MyAccount > Roaming & Intl > Roaming  > Data Roaming Promos. Choose the data roaming offer you are currently registered to and choose Unsubscribe. 

It is recommended that you only register to data roaming promos upon arrival abroad. If you register while still in the Philippines, the promo fee will be deducted from your load but you won't be able to use the promo.

If you decide to un-enroll to a promo when you’re already out of the Philippines, the promo fee would have already been automatically deducted from your load.

Make sure to connect to the specified Globe Prepaid Roam Surf partners to be able to enjoy the data roaming promo. In case you’re not connected to the assigned network, you can go to your phone’s settings and choose the preferred network via manual selection. You may refer to the list of countries and roaming partners provided.

Make sure your network is set to 3G mode. You may also need to restart your phone after a successful registration.
