That's nice but what are Share Treats codes and what can I claim with it?

Share Treats codes are alphanumeric codes that will allow you to claim items from McDonald's. You may choose among the McDonald’s treats that’s available in the Globe Rewards app. Download the app here.

This offer is eligible to all Globe and TM consumer accounts (Platinum, Globe Postpaid, Globe Prepaid, TM).

How long is this promo?

January 1, 2020 to October 15, 2021 for Hot Fudge Sundae, Cheeseburger Solo and McCrispy Chicken Fillet with Rice Small Meal then August 19 to October 15, 2021 for 20pc Chicken McNuggets Bundle.

Which McDonald's branch can I use these codes?

You may claim your treats at any McDonald's store nationwide and within the Philippines only. This is valid for dine-in or take-out orders only and not for McDonald's Drive-Thru, Dessert Centres, McDelivery or Kiosks.

How long can I use this code?

You may claim your McDonald's items until December 15, 2021 - 60 days after the end of the promo period.

How can I claim?

Using the Globe Rewards app:

Step 1: Download the Globe Rewards app

Step 2: Register (make sure all details are correct and accurate)

Step 3: Go to the Digital Catalog Section 

Step 4: Choose your desired McDonald's item/s

  • Hot Fudge Sundae – 31 points
  • Cheeseburger Solo – 66 points
  • McCrispy Chicken Fillet with Rice Small Meal – 75 points
  • 20pc Chicken McNuggets Bundle – 477 points

Step 5: Click REDEEM. Make sure you have enough points to purchase the item

Step 6: Click CONFIRM

Step 7: You’ll receive a message from 4438 and 8080 after a successful redemption

Step 8: Go to the nearest McDonald's branch and show the message from 8080 or as a forwarded message from another customer where your unique treats code may be found or keep the unique treats code for claiming until December 15, 2021

Step 1: Check your current balance by texting BALsend to 4438

Step 2: If you points are enough, dial *143#

Step 3: Go to the McDonald's offer by choosing the following numbers:

  • 9- Globe Rewards
  • 2- Redeem Rewards
  • 1- Globe Postpaid/GP/TM Products
  • 9- Keep choosing 9 (next) until you are able to find the McDonald's keywords

Step 4: Choose your desired McDonald's item

Step 5: You’ll receive a message from 4438 and 8080 after a successful redemption

Step 6: Go to the nearest McDonald's branch and show the message from 8080 where your unique treats code may be found.

APP: Click SEND AS GIFT when you claim through the Globe Rewards app and enter the mobile number of the recipient.

I have multiple mobile numbers registered in my Globe Rewards app. How do I know which number will I receive the unique treats code?

The mobile number you used to access your Globe Rewards app will be the one to receive both 4438 and 8080 messages.

What are the limitations of the promo?

  1. McDonald's treats codes are valid for redemption until December 15, 2021 - 60 days after the end of the promo period.
  2. Customers will receive a text from 4438 to confirm the successful payment of Globe Rewards Points.
  3. Another text from 8080 will be received by the customer with the unique treats code.
  4. Text from 8080 containing the unique treats code may be forwarded to other customers.
  5. Only the following items are redeemable at the moment and are not open for add-ons and upsizes: Hot Fudge Sundae, Cheeseburger Solo, McCrispy Chicken Fillet w/ Rice Small Meal.
  6. Customers may redeem McDonald's items through the following channels: Globe Rewards app, text and *143#
  7. Customers have to present the text (originally from 8080, but text is transferable and may be forwarded) with the McDonald’s treats code for verification and release of the item.
  8. One (1) code is equivalent to one (1) treat and is valid for one (1) time use only.
  9. Claiming must be done within the validity period at any McDonald's store nationwide.
  10. Redemption is valid for front counter dine-in or take-out orders only. Not valid for Drive-Thru, Dessert Centres, McDelivery or Kiosks.
  11. A maximum redemption of three (3) McDonald's treats codes per customer, per transaction, per store visit, per day will be allowed. Globe Rewards redemptions are limited to 3 transactions per day.
  12. The McDonald's treats codes are not exchangeable for cash, credit, discounts, or other goods and services.
  13. The McDonald's treats codes are not valid in conjunction with any on-going promotions or discounts of McDonald's.
  14. The McDonald's treats code is not valid in conjunction with any on-going promotions or discounts of McDonald's.
  15. Globe is not liable to offer a replacement code for codes that are used or expired
  16. Promo is subject to the transaction cap of five (5) Globe Rewards transactions per day (except for BUY or Points-as-Cash transactions)

But how come I can't redeem?

Make sure you have a good data connection/mobile signal and enough points to redeem your desired McDonald's item.

The McDonald's store is not accepting my code, what should I do?

You may try to claim the McDonald's item at the next nearest branch of McDonald's. You may also reach out via 211 or Share Treats customer service at (02) 8994 0446 for concerns and clarifications.

What if I didn't receive or accidentally deleted the message from 8080 and points already were deducted?

You may call the 211 and your inquiry will be forwarded to Share Treats for validation. Once verified, a new code will be provided by Share Treats. You may also reach out directly to Share Treats customers service at (02) 8994 0446 for concerns and clarifications.
